The Food Standards Agency has issued a warning over nuts bought from department store Harvey Nichols.
The luxury retailer has recalled its Lustrous Hazelnuts product due to undeclared milk content, posing a potential health risk for those with allergies or intolerances to milk or milk constituents.The affected hazelnuts come in 175g packs with batch codes 231012, 231017, 230926 and 240228. Products with best before dates of 30 September 2024 and 30 October 2024 are included in the recall.
Harvey Nichols is advising customers who have purchased the product to contact relevant allergy support organisations. A point-of-sale notice has also been issued to inform customers about the recall, while the Food Standards Agency has released a statement on the matter.
They also provided contact details for further assistance: "For more information please email [email protected] or telephone 020 7201 8088.", reports Birmingham Live.
