While the dryer weather may encourage keen gardeners to break out their lawnmower for a tidy-up, experts are urging them to delay their first grass-cut until July.
One of the experts urging Brits to delay their mowing is Sir David Attenborough, who warns that we could be inadvertently killing off lots of insects, writes the Examiner. No Mow May No Mow May is an annual campaign across the UK which calls on all garden owners and green space managers not to mow their lawns or grass at all during May.
