A search and rescue operation is under way after an American Airlines jet collided with a Black Hawk in Washington DC
According to CNN correspondent Gabe Cohen, there is a 'really somber mood' among the first responders as they continue their search-and-rescue operation in the choppy waters of the Potomac river. 'It feels — certainly not officially — but that we’re sort of moving from that ‘search-and-rescue operation’ into a recovery effort,' he said. 'They have pulled several bodies out. There are fatalities confirmed at the scene. And now we’re just waiting for answers.
