Wataru Endo has laughed off 'criticism' from Jurgen Klopp as a mistranslation from the media after Liverpool's 2-1 win at Newcastle United
Wataru Endo has laughed off comments from Jurgen Klopp that were taken out of context after Liverpool's 2-1 win against Newcastle last month.
Endo made his full Premier League debut in that game alongside Dominik Szoboszlai and Alexis Mac Allister in midfield but was replaced shortly before the hour mark with Klopp indicating that the Japan captain was not fully in-tune with his team-mates given he had only been at the club for one week. Endo, however, has dismissed the way the words were presented by some areas of the media in an interview with Japanese publication Syncronous and says it was merely a mistranslation of his manager's post-match views.
