The force that polices Shropshire's roads say they have received nearly 1,000 reports relating to the so-called “Crash for Cash” scam - in just one month alone.The fraud is when motorists deliberately crash into another vehicle, or cause a vehicle to hit their car, so they can claim on the person's insurance – often for illegitimate injury.
Police said warned motorists to be on the lookout for a black Seat Leon, that was involved in a collision with a car, causing damage to its rear.
