Carl Frampton was an emotional wreck as he watched pal Anthony Cacace become IBF World champion
Carl Frampton went through the wringer watching Belfast boxer Anthony Cacace become IBF World champion on Saturday night.
Cacace produced a career-best performance to stop champion Cordina in the eighth round of their super-featherweight clash. The 'Andytown Apache' had Cordina down in the third and bossed much of the fight. In footage shared by TNT Sports on social media, Frampton can be seen feeling every blow of the contest. From biting his nails, to jumping out of his chair, the former two-time world champion couldn't sit still for the entire bout.
