People began to line up in the early morning hours to see former President Donald Trump speak in mid-Michigan on Thursday.
Trump held a rally in Saginaw at the Ryder Center for Health and Physical Education at Saginaw Valley State University .Mid- Michigan NOW's Stella Daskalakis will have a full report on the visit on tonight's Mid- Michigan NOW broadcasts.He isn't the only presidential candidate visiting mid- Michigan this week. Vice President Kamala Harris ' campaign announced that she was visiting Flint.
“Nearly four years later, Donald Trump and JD Vance still deny the results of the 2020 election, which Joe Biden and Kamala Harris won. Trump and Vance can continue to try to rewrite history, but this is the truth: when Trump lost fair and square, he encouraged a violent insurrection on our nation’s Capitol and attempted to overturn Michiganders’ votes for his own personal benefit.
During the stop he said, “We ought to feel a little grateful to Donald Trump for giving us great leadership because we’ve got a hell of a product to sell. Are we ready to turn this state red and take the country back?”
