ABC chair Kim Williams will deliver a keynote speech at the 12th annual Lowy Institute Media Award Dinner, which recognises significant reporting on foreign policy issues by Australian journalists. Join Skynews.com.au to watch live from 7.40pm.The 12th annual awards dinner will see dozens of journalists and foreign policy experts come together to hear Mr Williams deliver a lecture on Australia's coverage of international affairs.
Following his speech, the Lowy Institute will unveil the winner of its Media Award, handed to the journalist who most deepened the knowledge or shaped the discussion of foreign policy issues in the country. The award includes a $20,000 prize and previous winners have included journalists from The Sydney Morning Herald, The Age, The Australian, Guardian Australia, ABC, and SBS.
