New stalls, a giant carol-singing tree and oh those sausage prices - join us for a tour of Manchester Christmas Markets
The sausages were sizzling, the streets were packed with shoppers and festive lights were twinkling. Yes, Manchester Christmas Markets have made their big festive return for 2023.
You can watch the full video at the top of the page, which starts at the main "hub" of the Christmas Markets this year, at Piccadilly Gardens, before snaking down Market Street, through Exchange Square, St Ann's Square and King Street. There's also a host of new food and drink stalls at the Winter Gardens hub this year. Catching our eye was the brand new Crimble's Crumble stall - serving up hot fruit crumbles in a variety of flavours, and then you choose your topping of either custard or cream.
