This full-weight work truck managed the feat on an unprepared surface thanks in part to two big turbochargers.

Trucks used to be little more than utility vehicles. Owners needed them to be robust and functional. Quickness from the factory wasn't really on the menu until recently. Today, buyers have the option to roll away from their local dealer with a 700-plus-horsepower desert runner. What still isn't available is a street-focused performance truck or one with 1,700 horsepower. So the folks over at That Racing Channel built one and it's fast and functional.

09-second 60-foot time and went from 60 to 130 mph in just 3.55 seconds. Considering that this was from a roll, that last figure is the most important one. To put it into perspective, the multi-million dollar Rimac Nevera all-electric hypercar does 60-130 in 2.99 seconds. Don't forget that this isn't some super stripped-down shell of the vehicle it once was. The Ford still has everything one would expect when slipping into an F-150 of this vintage and trim.
