A road in central Watford has been closed by Hertfordshire County Council for"emergency highway repairs".
Water Lane is set to remain shut between the railway bridge tunnel and river bridge until 4pm tomorrow . A spokesperson for Hertfordshire County Council said:"We are currently carrying out emergency carriageway repairs under a 24/7 road closure on Water Lane, Watford, between the railway bridge tunnel and river bridge."HCC said the intention was to carry out “targeted maintenance work” on the road in 2023.We want our comments to be a lively and valuable part of our community - a place where readers can debate and engage with the most important local issues.
