Houses were smashed by rushing water after the massive pipe ruptured in a Sydney suburb.
The pipeline in Como, near Engadine, burst at 1pm today flooding nearby homes in Binya Place and Inelgah Road.

They have been forced out of their home and will need to find alternative accommodation for the night.Residents reported a hissing sound to Sydney Water at 7am before the pipe exploded.
