Hertfordshire Fire and Rescue Service have tackled a large electrical fire at Watford's Atria shopping centre.

Hertfordshire Fire and Rescue Service's Andy Hall, who commanded this morning's operation, said:"Our crews have worked non stop this morning to contain and extinguish a fire, within an hour, that had the potential to cause disruption to bank holiday shoppers today. "While there was luckily no harm caused to any member of the public, I’d like to thank the firefighters who did their duty to stop the fire spreading and keep Hertfordshire residents safe."
