Trio of Hornets bidding to secure a place in their national squads for the upcoming Copa America finals next month.

Yaser Asprilla, Ismael Kone and Francisco Sierralta have been selected for their country’s preliminary squads ahead of this summer’s Copa America in the United States.

Colombia have gathered at their headquarters in Barranquilla and will play friendlies against Bolivia and then the USA .Lorenzo will then trim his squad down to the required 26 players ahead of Colombia’s opening Copa America Group D game against Paraguay in Houston on June 24. Asprilla has four senior caps so far, the most recent of them coming in March when he scored in a 3-2 friendly win over Romania.

Alongside Sierralta in Chile’s mammoth 55-player squad are the likes of Sheffield United striker Ben Brereton Diaz and goalkeepers Vicente Reyes and Lawrence Vigouroux .Chile are due to play a friendly against Paraguay on June 12, and then begin their Group A games against Peru on June 21 in Texas.
