Clare Cordell went through to the next round after judges Tom Jones and Olly Murs turned for her performance.Ms Cordell chose Sir Tom’s team and told the: “Tom was always top of my list but I didn’t know if he was going to turn around, when he did it was just, yes!“Olly Murs put in a really good pitch and he’s such a nice guy.Proudly declaring she was “born and raised in North Watford”, Ms Cordell attended Parkgate Junior School and later Bushey Meads during her childhood.
After around a year of keeping quite since the audition was recorded Clare was finally able to share the news with friends and family after the airing last night.“It was such as insane thing it just doesn’t feel real. “My phones been blowing up, it’s quite overwhelming, its lovely and everybody has been very supportive.
“I can’t keep a secret to save my life, and this has just absolutely killed me especially day to day life.”“And that why I hit my buzzer.Fellow judge Anne Marie added: “I agree, it was brilliant, I just felt it was Tom [Jones] vibe.” Despite not turning his chair, Will.i.am had perhaps the highest praise when he said: “I had a flashback to the season when Leanne went on to win The Voice, because she went on the right team and that was Tom’s team."
