Evergreen boosted their hopes of finishing second behind probable Watford Sunday League champions North Watford by beating Glenn SSC.
With North Watford looking almost certain to take the title for a third successive season, an interesting battle is underway for the runners-up spot. The victors had a dream start, going ahead after just five minutes when a free-kick from near the corner flag was headed in by Tom Verbana.
Page then turned provider for the second goal when his run and cross found Jayden Chamberlain who fired home from eight yards out. The goals continued to flow in the second half as, first, Osunsedo got his name on the scoresheet with a tap in before they made it six when Myles Shahidi drilled a shot home from the edge of the box for his first goal for the club.
But it was Rangers who netted the final goal of the game when Alexi Andreas tapped home from inside the six-yard box.In the second half Joes went back ahead after a goalmouth scramble in which Harry Seabrook got the final touch.Saints took the lead within the first ten minutes when Andre Ford capitalised on a defensive misunderstanding, and then Jake Rodger doubled the advantage after just a quarter of an hour following good work from Sean Haugh.
