Wayne Rooney has opened up on life at his Cheshire mansion, revealing that one of his four sons had a costly accident when he crashed a £3K golf cart into one of the estate's lakes
Wayne Rooney has shared a rather pricey mishap involving one of his sons and a £3,000 golf cart at their family estate.
During the interview, filmed at Wayne's grand abode, Gary quizzed him about the lake, asking: "Do you go swimming in that lake? " Rooney responded with a story of the aquatic adventure of his golf cart, saying: "I wouldn't. We've had a golf buggy go in it. The day I've gone to America as manager." His return to English football saw him take the reins at Birmingham City, but his tenure was short-lived, lasting just 83 days. Despite inheriting a team in sixth place in the Championship, under Rooney's leadership, they plummeted to 20th and faced relegation to League One after winning only two out of 15 matches.
