Glasgow's bar scene is packed with incredible spots and is rightly revered around the UK for a great night out.
One fan wrote: "The tollbooth bar not only serves the best pint of Guinness but has the best staff and prices are very reasonable." "These kinds of pubs are closing down at a frightening rate but this wee pub will be around for a long time with great staff and great welcome always," gushed one punter.
One person posted: "There is a lovely atmosphere in the pub with great staff who are always friendly and helpful. They also have a good food offering and a great range of drinks to suit all tastes." "It has been there for many a year and family generations have drank in it for years," they posted. "Staff are fantastic and look after their customers and have entertainment on every week. Drinks are the cheapest around and that keeps the customers happy too. It’s a fun welcoming clean happy establishment.
One lover of the Lismore, posted: "It’s a traditional pub with a good selection of beers and whiskies. No food is served and there is seldom any piped music. The Station Bar, Cowcaddens "This is the most welcoming pub I’ve ever been in," exclaimed one visitor. Who added: "Excellent lunch menu and no matter whether it’s lunchtime, pre or apres theatre, the staff are always friendly. Oh, and the prices are pretty friendly too!"
