Galvanised into action by recent events, Project Rozana hopes to inspire fellow Australians to help

Nurses from Israel and the West Bank.very Sunday since October 2021, Dr Enas, a passionate physician from Gaza City, has bid farewell to her two sons to embark on a journey to Wolfson hospital in Holon,.
On Saturday 7 October, her world, and that of countless Israelis, was upended by the horrific Hamas assault on southern Israel. In the upheaval that is unfolding as the result, Enas is now one of countless displaced Palestinian residents of Gaza; having heeded Israel’s warnings and moved from her Gaza City home to an uncertain future in the south. She now shares a residence with nearly a hundred others in central Gaza.
Such distressing tales aren’t unique to Enas. Numerous Palestinian families in Gaza, especially those with critically ill children requiring specialised treatments such as chemotherapy and paediatric dialysis, are caught in this crossfire. Their only recourse for treatment has been Israeli hospitals, facilitated by the Wheels of Hope program.
In these very difficult times, we, the Rozana community, are galvanised into action, hoping to inspire our fellow Australians as well. Our core belief remains that focusing on our shared humanity rather than our differences can pave the way for meaningful change.
