Prices have gone up over the years
Nationwide, Wetherspoon have upped their prices. As some businesses have had no choice to up products by a few pounds or pence, people are noticing the increase in prices at the pub known for being cheap and cheerful. Now, a large breakfast is priced at £6.34.
If you go to Wetherspoon often, you may remember when 3 small sharing plates were a tenner. Now, they’re any 3 for £14.24.In 2022, I must have treated Jenna again as a chicken tikka curry was ordered at the Gooseberry Bush on Peel Street in town. Isn’t she lucky? Believe it or not, I’ve never had a Wetherspoon curry but with a garlic naan, the curry was priced at £7.95. Now, a chicken tikka curry at wetherspoons is £9.03 with a soft drink or £10.
