At just 33 years old, Rawlins was a father to an 11-year-old son and an 8-year-old daughter, a brother and to Jeff Alison, he was a close friend. So close, he served as the best man at his wedding.

“I actually knew him long before I met my wife,” Alison said. “I mean we used to go to the club, and we went fishing four-wheel riding hunting we done it all. I mean, we did a lot.”FOX10 News has learned Heathcoe has been charged with domestic violence against Rawlins in the past. As Heathcoe awaits her next court hearing Wednesday, Alison said he hopes justice is served, but more importantly, the life of his best friend is never forgotten.
