National Pizza Day on Sunday, February 9 is enough of a reason to skip the cooking

There are certain shopping rules I like to stick by, including never running out of bread, tea bags and milk. But one thing that has been added to my list of 'must haves' over the last year or so is pizza.

It's doubly disappointing if they're nothing to write home about either and we've had our fair share or pizzas with a mere dusting of toppings they promise to be lavished with. There are two flavours of the Carlos branded pizzas to choose from - Spicy Meat Feast and BBQ Chicken & Bacon - both coated with a delicious tomato and bbq blend sauce and both packed with toppings.

I'm not a huge fan of those, but thankfully, although it says 'spicy' it's not actually as hot as the ingredients would suggest.

Lupa Pizza, which opened last June, states they cater to all tastes except for those who enjoy pineapple on their pizza. The restaurant's owner and head chef have publicly expressed their aversion to pineapples on pizza. To gauge public opinion, Lupa has launched an online poll to determine if pineapple belongs on pizza. If the 'yes' vote wins, they say they will reluctantly offer the Hawaiian pizza as a monthly special.
