In a surprise trip to the UK, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky addressed Parliament before heading down to Buckingham Palace to meet King Charles III who revealed 'we've all been worried about you' following nearly a year of Russia's invasion.
President Zelensky touched down in the UK overnight in the hope to receive further military aid from neighbouring nations asIn his second international trip since the war began, Mr Zelensky arrived at Buckingham Palace to meet the King who welcomed him with open arms.Mr Zelensky thanked the King for what a"big support" both Houses of Parliament had been to Ukraine in which the monarch replied,"I'm so glad".
"I congratulated him on his recent accession to the throne and wished peace and prosperity to the British people," he wrote. Mr Sunak declared"nothing is off the table" when it came to supplying Ukraine with fighter jets but added training pilots to use those planes must be the first step. "Nothing is off the table and our leadership on this issue is something that we all collectively should be very proud of."
