The End We Start From: we’ve got our first look at Jodie Comer’s nail-biting new survival thriller.
is being developed by none other than Benedict Cumberbatch’s SunnyMarch, Hera Pictures, Anton and BBC Film. Cumberbatch and Comer are also teaming up to executive produce the project.Speaking about the project, Bafta award-winning director Mahalia Belo said the film is a unique and original take on a survival film, which “feels in tune with the climate crisis we are experiencing now”.
“It delivers an honest look at the nature of a hero, someone forced to be brave who sometimes can’t be,” she explained in a statement. “It is incredible to be working with such an extraordinary cast, bringing this human, primal, and ultimately hopeful story to life.
“Both her very personal life and the world around her have been turned upside down and she is dealing with the unknown at every turn,” she explained.With production now officially underway, we can expect more details to be released very soon.
