Glasgow's newest charity shop, The Hospice Shop, has recently opened in the south side of the city. We headed along to hunt down designer bargains for just £30 or under.
We visited Glasgow's newest charity shop in the south side of the city and found some absolute steals.
The Hospice Shop located on Battlefield Road in Glasgow, sells high-end pieces for as low as £6. Launching just two weeks ago by The Prince & Princess of Wales Hospice, the pre-loved boutique boasts labels such as Ted Baker, Michael Kors, Zara, Harris Tweed and Fossil. When we heard of one shopper picking up a Mulberry bag for just £125, we had to see what all the fuss was about. So,took a trip to the south side to see what we could bargain for just £30 and I have to say, we were pleasantly surprised. It had a totally different interior from the traditional charity shop . The boutique has a fresh and spacious feel, offering customers a more luxurious experience in the world of thrifting.
The Hospice Shop is situated at 126 Battlefield Road and is open Monday to Saturday 10am until 5pm. The Prince and Princess of Wales Hospice has more than 200 hospices across the UK, with one located near Bellahouston Park in Glasgow. The charity offers support to to those experiencing end of life care, helping 300,000 dying people and their families across the UK every year.
There really was something for everyone - from gorgeous baby clothes for just £3.50 to a real tweed blazer for an astonishing £6. It is a great new spot for you bargain brains out there and we would definitely recommend paying a visit, especially for such a great cause.
