Weather warning extended for Lancashire
The Met Office has extended its weather warning as snow and ice are set to hit Lancashire this morning.
. The experts say that 'showery rain and sleet, with some snow, will lead to an ice risk this morning, and possible travel disruption'. As a result of the weather, it is expected that there will be some icy patches on some untreated roads. There is also likely to be snowfall in places - mainly on higher level roads.
