Police seized a haul of weed plants worth an estimated £900,000 after neighbours alerted officers to some odd behaviour in their road.
They searched a property in Old Park Avenue in Canterbury, Kent, and uncovered around 250 cannabis plants and arrested Ardit Tershalla, 24.Officers found three cannabis factories in Old Park Avenue in Canterbury But while officers were at the scene, those living nearby raised concerns about two other properties.
Each house was later found to contain around 500 plants, meaning the total haul came to around 1,250 plants. Tershalla was later charged with one count of cultivating cannabis and one count of abstracting electricity.Kent Police said: ‘Enquiries are ongoing.’
