Families have been left in turmoil, questioning the senseless tragedies

as four men have died this week, two in Leeds and the other two in Huddersfield. This comes after Yorkshire Live launched its 'Bin the Knife, Save a Life' campaign to rally the authorities to work more closely together than ever before in order to educate young people about knife crime and the dangers of carrying knives.

Mr Jean appeared at Leeds Magistrates' Court on Wednesday. The case was adjourned for a number of hours for an interpreter to attend but in the afternoon Mr Jean - dressed in a grey tracksuit and wearing a bandage on his right hand - indicated not guilty pleas to the charges. The third man received treatment for an injury which was not life-threatening. Police made four arrests, all aged between 18 and 19. Rashane Douglas, 19, appeared before a judge at Bradford Crown Court following a triple stabbing in Halifax at the weekend.
