Dragon alert at Lincoln Castle! 🐉 Welcome back, Lucy, and hello, Norman!
The popular Lucy the Dragon has returned to Lincoln Castle and this time she has brought a friend with her. Welcome to Lincoln, Norman!
Lucy first made her appearance at Lincoln Castle in 2022 to increase visitor numbers and enhance the offerings of the site – and she proved a big hit. A planning application quickly went in for an additional dragon sculpture, and was swiftly approved, paving the way for Lucy to come back – this time with her friend Norman.The arrival of Lucy and Norman was celebrated with Enchanted Castle weekend on June 24 and 25.The scaly pair will be in place at Cobb Hall until at least January next year, following the huge success of Lucy’s solo appearance last year.
Lucy and Norman will keenly watch over a series of exciting events in the city across the summer, including both the Grand Medieval Joust and Asylum Steampunk Festival in August.
