Wendell Piece and Ben Stiller have led tributes to Lance Reddick after his death at 60.
Halfway through re-watching THE WIRE comes the news that Lance Reddick has died at the horribly unfair age of 60. Wonderful actor; wonderful man. This is sad news.Lance Reddick was an incredibly nice guy, and an incredibly talented actor. This is heartbreaking. Although his co-stars, including Keanu Reeves and Rina Sawayama and Bridget Moynahan appeared on the red carpet, he was not in attendance.Fans were devastated over the news TMZ claims that he was due to appear on the Kelly Clarkson show in the next few days, to promote the franchise. Reddick has been a staple of our screens for years, beginning his career in the 90s, before landing a starring role as Cedric Daniels in The Wire, which premiered in 2002.
Daniels was a firm favorite during the program’s four-year run, with the actor starring opposite Pierce, Dominic West, Idris Elba, and Michael K Williams.
