Bob Hope decided to swallow his pride and focus on his future with Wendy Posner in Emmerdale.
He is currently in hospital following a heart attack in the village. The ordeal occurred after he punched Liam in the face in an act of revenge after he had an affair with Wendy. He then collapsed to the floor and in the hospital, revealed to Wendy that he has erectile dysfunction. He said it had been concerning him for some time, but he hadn’t mentioned it to Wendy because he didn’t want her treating him like a patient.
Bob felt insecure about the situation and thought that Wendy had been driven into Liam’s arms because he wasn’t comfortable with the idea of having sex.
