have raised eyebrows after issuing a bizarre apology for referencing the pending tribunal appearance of Collingwood star Jordan De Goey.
When the AFL released the Match Review Officer’s findings, West Coast posted the outcome on social media as it involved one of their players. But the club then made the decision to delete posts about De Goey on social media and edit the article to remove any reference to the Collingwood player.“The club wishes to apologise for referencing the pending AFL tribunal appearance of Collingwood’s Jordan De Goey,” they wrote.“Nothing to apologise for. Eagles fans have a right to know the punishment given when they are a victim,” one wrote.“Bunch of cowards. If you fire the fun, stick with it,” another added.
