Chloe McBride, from Whitburn, is a finalist at the UK HBA (Hair and Beauty Awards) 2024
, making her one of only a very small group to be judged as the best Make Up Artists in the UK.
The awards aim to shine a light on the best British talent in the industry and recognise individual and business achievement.She said: “To be recognised for the hard work I put in always gives me the biggest boost to my mood! With such a talented group of finalists I don’t for a minute expect to win, just getting recognition feels amazing, but I hope I can do West Lothian proud!”
A spokesperson for the awards added: This is recognition of a lot of hard work and dedication over many years of training to build on her talent. “It also reflects wider positive signs for businesses in the hospitality and events sectors, as there is a strong correlation between the popularity of makeup services and people socialising and enjoying life outside of the house, especially after the devastating two years experienced across many business sectors due to covid.”
