The garden will also provide a space for community members to gather and reflect on their pandemic experience
The garden at Almondvale Park in Livingston will be a ‘living memorial’ to those that were lost to covid and a space for community members to gather and reflect on their pandemic experience.
The garden has been co-designed with West Lothian community members and is expected to open in Autumn 2024. Open and accessible public consultations were held around West Lothian, including creative workshops in printmaking, paper collage and textile design, as well as themed walks that involved participants sketching their surroundings.
