The pilot will see the end of peak fares on all ScotRail services
The Pilot launched earlier this month and will run for six months, ending on March 29, 2024.This is being funded by the SNP Scottish Government, encouraging car users to choose a more sustainable transport option.
Fiona said: “The Scottish Government’s Programme for Government makes a clear commitment to encouraging a shift towards more sustainable transport. “This Pilot, is backed by £15 million of Scottish Government funding and will make our rail services more accessible and encourage active travel, benefitting the health and well-being of communities across West Lothian and helping Scotland to reach our net-zero goals.
