Police officers in West Lothian say they are continuing to see a high number of “acquisition” crimes in the county, which include break-ins and thefts.
To deter thefts from your vehicles, where possible, remove all items of value when you park up for the evening. Advice for home and business security is to always lock up properly whenever you head to bed or leave your property unoccupied. Also remember to consider sheds, garages, and other outbuildings as extensions of your home – particularly if you are using them to store high-value items.
