Eastertoun Primary School and Nursery were assessed as ‘Very Good’
Pupils and staff at Eastertoun Primary School and Nursery in Armadale are celebrating a very positive report from Education Scotland inspectors.
“The feedback reflects the amazing community we have at Eastertoun where our fantastic whole staff team, across both the nursery and school, provide high-quality learning and teaching opportunities for all our children, in our nurturing and caring environments. Key points included the school’s highly-effective head teacher, who is providing very strong leadership and direction. The head teacher is supported very well by the depute head and the newly-appointed principal teacher. Together they are ambitious for all children.
The inspection also team found a welcoming, nurturing, and caring ethos which is underpinned by the school values. This is leading to positive relationships and a strong sense of community and is helping children to feel happy, secure and to flourish.
