West Lothian puppies found abandoned in plastic box just days after being born

The SSPCA are appealing for information after the black puppies were found in Bathgate

Seven puppies that are thought to be just days-old have been abandoned in a plastic box in a West Lothian town.

The animal welfare charity has thanked the good samaritan who found the puppies and says they were ‘quite distressed’ before the animals were taken to a local vet to be checked over. “We are very grateful to the person who found these puppies as we dread to think what would have happened if they hadn’t been found when they were.
