Paramedics Kyle Raffo and Bradley Sadat-Shafai have developed the kits they say can mean the difference between life and death in the first few minutes after someone is injured. The kits include tourniquets, chest seals and trauma dressings designed specifically to stop serious bleeds The kits are designed to enable members of the community to provide vital treatment in the minutes after someone is stabbed or has sustained a traumatic bleed.Mr Raffo, who featured in several series of channel 4’s 999: On the Front Line, said: "After a decade serving the NHS on the frontline in Birmingham, I’ve seen the rise in deaths due to stab wounds and other serious traumatic bleed injuries.
