A new housing initiative has been announced by a council to provide short-term support for people facing housing uncertainty.
Hosts will receive a monthly "thank-you payment" to cover expenses, along with dedicated support from a caseworker who assists with the arrangement and ongoing needs.OFPCCThe local authority said the programme was inspired by the success of themodel, in which UK homes hosted Ukrainian nationals and members of their families.
