Local election results for Bradford, Calderdale, Kirklees, Leeds and Wakefield
All five borough councils in the county held elections on Thursday with voters in Bradford, Calderdale, Kirklees, Leeds and Wakfield heading to the ballot box.
People were voting to have their say on who they think should run their local public services, including education, libraries, and bin collections. Voters were also choosing a new mayor for the West Yorkshire combined authority area, which oversees areas of transport and regeneration.In total, more than 2,500 council seats were up for grabs across 107 local authorities in England.
There were also police and crime commissioner elections across England and Wales - but not in Greater Manchester, London, North Yorkshire, South Yorkshire and West Yorkshire.
