“On May 19, 2024, we look forward to welcoming guests to the Old Town North neighborhood of Western Springs,” Julie Kemnitz, House Walk Co-Chair, said in the release. ”In focusing on a single neighborhood, we hope to encourage guests to explore the community on foot, taking in the gorgeous tree-lined streets and our diverse housing stock.
New this year, homeowners are allowed to decide how much of their homes they would like to share with the public, according to the release. Therefore, some homes will show first levels only, while others will share multiple levels. “We’re thrilled that the house walk is back this year, and we look forward to showcasing an extraordinary and diverse collection of Western Springs homes,” Mike Scrodo, Western Springs Historical Society president, said.
