A further 40 have reported one worker testing positive for the coronavirus, while six pubs have confirmed two.., which employs more than 41,000 people, said the vast majority of its 861 pubs had recorded no positive cases.three staff at the North and South Wales Bank in Wrexham, North Wales, tested positive but it remained open.

It comes as Wetherspoons boss Tim Martin shot down claims made by a disease expert that pubs are "dangerous places to be" during the pandemic."It is clearly not the case that pubs are 'dangerous places to be'."Mr Martin insists the chain has invested around £15million on safeguarding its pubs - including reducing capacity and screens between tables.
