BREAKING: Wetherspoons staff to be paid on Friday for hours worked last week
Wetherspoon will pay all its 43,000 staff this Friday for the hours worked last week, the pub chain said.
Boss Tim Martin earlier told employees in a video message that they wouldn’t get any more money until Government grants covering 80% of pay kicked in. The pub chain announced on Wednesday that the first payment under the scheme will be made on April 3 and weekly thereafter.
