Andrew Ridgeley is now virtually unrecognisable as one half of the iconic 1980s pop duo, Wham! The music icon, now 61, has largely stayed out of the spotlight since the band split up back in the spring of 1986, after their farewell concert at Wembley Stadium. He tried to launch a solo career, but ended up writing songs for other people.
But Andrew appeared on Magic FM to talk to presenter and Escape To The Country host Sonali Shah, for a documentary about another of Wham!'s huge hits, Careless Whisper. Sonali posted a series of pictures of her with Andrew on her Instagram account, saying: "40 years after its first release, we look back at the story behind this iconic song and explore its legacy with rare audio and exclusive interviews.
Last year, Andrew opened up about his love life following his split from socialite Amanda Cronin. The musician has always been private about his personal life.However, he gave a rare insight into his romantic affairs, revealing that he was in "several relationships" and wasn't looking to commit to just one person. Speaking to the Telegraph, Andrew said: "I have several relationships. Love comes in a variety of forms.
