A family-run restaurant which has served up authentic Greek cuisine for half a century has turned things around with a glowing food hygiene report.
"We don't buy anything ready-made. Because of the paperwork we got the low grade. Now we have everything spot on. She said: "I was concerned, not for the customers that know me - no. But for new customers, I was worried.
Her daughter Teresa Michael, who also works at Zorbas, told the ECHO this week: "While we know paperwork is really important, when people see a one-star hygiene rating they think cockroaches in the kitchen, rats and mice. But we wouldn't have been here so long if the premises were dirty. It was disappointing and we have rectified it and we know the importance of logging everything.
