Liverpool defender Ibrahima Konate was not pleased after missing out on the player of the match award against Wolverhampton Wanderers. And even less so when he discovered Gary Neville was the person who decided it. The Reds moved to the top of the table on Saturday with a 2-1 win over rock-bottom Wolves. Konate opened the scoring in the first half with a header, before Mohamed Salah put Liverpool back in front from the penalty spot after Rayan Ait-Nouri's equaliser.
On Sky Sports commentary Neville gave the Player of the Match prize to Ryan Gravenberch after another commanding display in midfield.
