It's safe to say Andy Whyment is a Coronation Street legend. The 41-year-old has played much-loved Kirk Sutherland on the long-running ITV soap since 2000.
His marriage has been on the rocks after a dispute with Beth. The character felt he couldn't believe Beth after she lied about hitting Hope Stape, reports the ECHO.He was also jealous after she told him about her first lover, Marco. Thankfully, though, the week had a happy ending as Kirk and Beth made up just as he was considering moving out of their house.
They have been married since 2007 and have two children, Thomas and Hollie. Andy swooned over his wife in an interview with OK! Magazine in 2017."We've been together 14 years and we just don't argue. We get on so well." But they refused to let it dampen their spirits - they enjoyed a luxurious afternoon in their garden hot tub. Andy has regularly shared updates of the family relaxing in style in their garden.
