Leeds United head coach Daniel Farke insists the performance in the 2-2 draw at Sunderland was his 'proudest day of the season' so far.
So while the pain of the late equaliser, especially given the nature of the goal, was hard to take, Farke was still keen to focus on the positives of a strong display against promotion rivals. “We missed perhaps to score the third goal to bury the game as there were a few situations of counter-attack, but in terms of defending, everything was really excellent. I'm so, so proud of how we reacted today and how we played and how we dominated this game in major parts, and how rock solid we were in the second half.
