San Antonio residents reported mysterious lights seen in the sky Monday night.
SAN ANTONIO — San Antonians once again found themselves transfixed, awed and a bit mystified after spotting a strange bright light overhead Monday night.
KENS 5 viewers reported seeing the object from Seguin and the Alamo City to New Braunfels, and shared video of what appeared to be a bright light moving slowly before suddenly picking up speed and creating a ring in the sky. A few seconds later, it fades from view. Probably the third option. While we don't have confirmation, experts tell KENS 5 the most likely explanation is that the bright object is the result of SpaceX launching its Falcon 9 satellite Monday evening in Florida.
Previous video sent to the KENS 5 newsroom showed bright or otherwise weird objects in the sky, sometimes during the day.
